OVULATION
Ovulation is when a mature egg is released from the ovary. After the egg is released, it then moves down to the fallopian tube where fertilization by sperm can take place. A woman is most fertile during ovulation and this occurs 12 to 14 days before your next period. Ovulation is part of your menstrual cycle, meaning it happens every month.

Cervix changes - The Cervix acts as the door to the uterus which sperm can travel through to fertilize eggs.

Menopause simply means the end of your menstrual cycle. It is a natural biological process and can happen between the age of 40 or 50. It doesn't occur overnight but a gradual process. It is a time when the function of the ovaries ceases.

HOW TO STOP MENOPAUSE
As crazy as it might sound, menopause can be stopped but not forever. Allow me to say postponed but not completely stopped. The only way to make that happen is by following the steps below and eating more of these foods as you get older.
- Having sex regularly can delay menopause.
- Oily fish like salmon, sardines, mackerel can delay menopause.
- Use organic beauty products.
- Use ceramic cookware instead because it does not contain chemicals.
- Eat low-fat dairy.
- Never keep food in plastic packaging.
- Drink plenty of water.
- Eat lots of fruits and vegetables.
- Eat foods high in phytoestrogen. They are plant-based compounds that have been found beneficial in fighting symptoms caused by estrogen (female sex hormone) deficiency. They are foods like soybeans, yams, oats, flax seeds, carrots, apples, lentils and pomegranates.
- Reduce processed foods and refined sugar.
- Exercise regularly.
