BEAUTY TIPS - FEW MAKEUP BLUNDERS YOU SHOULDN'T DO❎❎❎

Hello lovelies, how are we doing? Below are a few makeup mistakes we make daily and most of us thought we looked fabulous. I hope this fix our makeup mistakes so we never walk out of the house with bad makeup again.

- OVER TRIMMING OR GROOMING YOUR BROWS
Its ideal to tame overgrown brows because well groomed brows can enhance your entire look and most importantly, your eyes but note that as we get older our brows naturally become sparser. So, if you groom your brows too thin all the time, they might never grow back fully again.
Just trim around your brows; undergrowth and follow the arch for best result.

- SCULPTING YOUR FACE WITH CONTOUR
We all love a chiseled cheek bones and
ski-slope nose but contouring is best left for professionals and it's basically for photography or film. Focus on creating pretty, subtle makeup.

- USING OVERLY DARK BROW PENCILS
It's better to fill your brows with a color that matches your natural brow hair color. A better option is using brow powders to fill your brows and apply using an angled brush in tiny strokes. This is so much easier to use and looks way more natural than pencils.

- WEARING THE WRONG FOUNDATION
Foundation is supposed to create a perfect, smooth complexion and cover any facial flaws. This is why you should use a foundation which blends in with your skin. When getting a foundation, test it on your jawline and not your hand because it has to look natural and blend into your skin; not lighter or darker.

- APPLYING MAKEUP ON DRY SKIN
Applying foundation on dry skin will only accentuate the flakes by sitting on top of them instead of blending in with your skin. Fix dry skin by exfoliating regularly to rid that skin off flakes and afterwards apply a good moisturizer. Smoother skin creates a much smoother application and flawless finish.

- TRYING TO PLUMP YOUR LIPS
If you want to line outside your natural lip line to make your lips bigger, use a lipliner the same shade as your lipstick on the outer line of your lips.

- APPLYING LUMINOUS PRODUCTS
Apply illuminating products to cheekbones, inner eye corners and a little under the eye and not all over the face. Too many can make you look strange. Imagine a glowing face on a matte body. Except you apply the illuminator all over your body as well, then it's fine.

I hope you learnt a thing or two...
So go ahead and rock your pretty!!!

TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE IN HAUSALAND - THE PROCESS AND RITES

The Hausa are one of the most congested ethnic groups in Africa. They are heterogeneous in nature but culturally homogeneous people. They reside mostly in the Northern part of the country known to them as ''Arewa'' which is translated as Northern Nigeria. They are primarily Muslims while few are Christians. Although a great number of people in this region speak the Hausa language, different tribes among them have their own unique dialects. The Hausa traditional marriage is not as time consuming or expensive like the Yoruba and Igbo traditional marriage rites. Unlike in other culture where you are allowed some kind of freedom with the opposite sex, a Hausa man and woman don't have such freedom and the only thing that will bring about sexual contact between them is marriage. The Na Gani Ina  is the first stage where the groom with his male friends and kinsmen visit the bride's family house to make their intention known. They also go along with gifts. The
