LIVING A LIFE WITH PURPOSE

Why do we dress the way we do, talk a certain way or walk a certain way? We all know its because we live to impress. We are in a world where impressions matter most. Its like if we don't impress someone daily, we aren't living.
Now, who do we impress? What purpose do we impress? What is your motive behind every impression?
Think deeply about this because it is connected to why we live and how we live.

We all should live a life with a purpose because that gives us strength and hope to keep pushing. There are different purposes in life and we all have a certain purpose to accomplish in our daily lives.
The purpose of life is to live it.
Don't live to impress but to express.
Why were you created? Why are you still living? Its because you have goals. There's a purpose for your life if you are alive. A life without goals will end up miserable and hopeless. The purpose of life is a life with purpose; so rather die for a cause than live a life that is worthless. When your life is on track with its purpose, you are your most powerful.

Start embrassing the life that is calling you. Find your calling, know what sparks the light in you so you, in your own way, can light up the world.- Oprah Winfrey
Don't waste anymore of your day dreaming, wishing with no plan or purpose. Never emulate  someone else's plan or dream. You definitely have yours because we all were created with something unique within. All fingers are not equal. No matter how ridiculous your dreams are, it does count. Your story is important because it could help save or change someone. Your voice matters and everyone was born to make an impact.

We all need  to achieve a well-lived life. No matter where you are now, you have in your hands the power to change or refrain from any lifestyle you know, won't take you to your goals. It all depends on what really matters to you, making the right choices, stand for something and make your life count.
Life is a journey, not so much to a destination but a transformation, therefore embrace each challenge in your life as an opportunity for self-transformation. Do you want to be remembered as a good for nothing or as someone everyone looks up to. Do not think too much about your past neither dwell much on your present but rather look towards your future because that's the most important. Imagine yourself in five years, who you want to become and plan towards it from now. Its never too late to start afresh as far as you are breathing and healthy. Its not about perfect, its about your effort.

Everyday is where transformation happens. That's how change occurs. No matter what you did or are doing, change occurs through efforts. What are you willing to do to be different and stand out. Allow your passion to become your purpose and it will one day give you a profession. Make your purpose your priority and set them right.
Sometimes, you have to get to a point of total frustration before you"ll be ready to make a big change. Don't wait for what anyone else should do but hasn't yet and likely won't. Is up to you to decide on what to do and what you can do to change the situation for the better. Remember, when someone says you've changed, it simply means you've stopped living your life their way.

Life is a one time offer so use it well. Live a purpose-driven life.

TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE IN HAUSALAND - THE PROCESS AND RITES

The Hausa are one of the most congested ethnic groups in Africa. They are heterogeneous in nature but culturally homogeneous people. They reside mostly in the Northern part of the country known to them as ''Arewa'' which is translated as Northern Nigeria. They are primarily Muslims while few are Christians. Although a great number of people in this region speak the Hausa language, different tribes among them have their own unique dialects. The Hausa traditional marriage is not as time consuming or expensive like the Yoruba and Igbo traditional marriage rites.
