STARTING SMALL (FROM LITTLE BEGINNINGS TO ACHIEVING GREAT THINGS)

It's not about how you started that matters, but how you finish. Everyday is a journey; the secret of getting ahead is getting started.
Starting small is not the goal here, but its just the beginning of some great journey. How the journey plays out is your goal. You are responsible for what you become in life and mind you, its never too late to start again. When it becomes too late to start again is when you think its too late to start all over. You own you and your destiny lies in your next decision. What you become tomorrow is as a result of your decisions.

Don't ever be in a rush to make it or else life will rush you back to the very beginning. I always have believed in taking one step at a time. Thinking big doesn't mean you should start big.
Little beginnings are the revelation of big dreams and great things.

If you can't do great things then do small things in a great way. You don't have to be rich or important to become someone great. Start where you are right now, use whatever you have and do what you can. Whatever you decide to accomplish in life, start little and it doesn't matter how little it is;
 just start.
The person who removes a mountain begins by carrying away small stones.

DON'T IMITATE.
Trust you and be you because everyone else is already taken.
Maturity is not about speaking or bragging about the big things but it is when we start to understand the minimal things in life.
No one begins a long journey without a first step. Do not wait till a year before you start something, you would wish you had started today. Never be afraid of making mistakes. Infact, the biggest mistake you can ever make is to be afraid of making mistakes. The fear of failing won't make you discover your potentials in life. When you decide to do anything, think about the future and not just tomorrow. If you have too many dreams at once, don't worry. Start with the simple ones, the upgrade to the complex ones.

Remember, strength shows not only in your ability to keep going but your ability to start all over.
Don't fret over starting again when necessary. If you haven't failed before then its a sign you are not doing anything new. The first step is always the hardest of it all. Don't always try to fix everything that is broken; rather start all over and create something else that is better.
If you don't like where you are now then change something, do something different. It could be you need to relocate or not. You understand your situation better than I do. So, don't sit there and blame anyone for your misfortunes. GET UP AND DO SOMETHING!

TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE IN HAUSALAND - THE PROCESS AND RITES

The Hausa are one of the most congested ethnic groups in Africa. They are heterogeneous in nature but culturally homogeneous people. They reside mostly in the Northern part of the country known to them as ''Arewa'' which is translated as Northern Nigeria. They are primarily Muslims while few are Christians. Although a great number of people in this region speak the Hausa language, different tribes among them have their own unique dialects. The Hausa traditional marriage is not as time consuming or expensive like the Yoruba and Igbo traditional marriage rites. Unlike in other culture where you are allowed some kind of freedom with the opposite sex, a Hausa man and woman don't have such freedom and the only thing that will bring about sexual contact between them is marriage.
